Gallaudet University hosted a very exciting KECK Foundation Grant Workshop on May 13-14, 2015, the first of three workshops to occur over the next three years. The workshop was convened by Professor Laura-Ann Petitto, Principle Investigator of the 3-year research grant entitled “Seeing the Rhythmic Temporal Beats of Human Language.” It was attended by the following experts on the grant in robotics, avatars, motion capture, thermal infrared imaging, cognitive neuroscience, and language acquisition.
