On April 30, 2018, Prof Laura-Ann Petitto (left) and Provost Carol Erting (right) were delighted and honored to sign an important Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dr. Fabrizio Renzi of IBM Global. Dr. Renzi is the IBM Italy Director for Technical, Innovation, and Research. The MOU is to launch a new era of technical innovation and discovery in Artificial Intelligence associated with Gallaudet University’s Creativity Way, and Professor Petitto – Professor Arcangelo Merla’s Language Learning Artificial Agents initiative.
